Jim Amos

James H. Amos, Jr., President & CEO
Jim Amos was named President and CEO of the National  Center for Policy Analysis in February, in 2016. Mr. Amos is the former CEO of Mail Boxes Etc., now the UPS Store, and a 2012 inductee into the International Franchise Association’s Hall of Fame.  He is also the 2012 recipient of the Nashville Business Legend Award.  He has sought to guide entrepreneurs, associates and fellow citizens as a board member , Frequent speaker , writer and blogger (jimamosblog.com) and a constant advocate for military veterans and business format franchising.

Allen B. West Allen West, Executive Director & Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
Allen B. West is National Center for Policy Analysis Executive Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Lt. Col. West joined the NCPA because of his belief that it will be policy, not politics that secures a sound economic future for Americans – with growth, opportunity and returning the promise of the American dream for this generation and those to come.
Jacki Pick Jacki Pick, General Counsel and Senior Energy Fellow
Ms. Pick manages litigation and financial oversight, conducting audits and managing internal controls.  
Joe Barnett Joe Barnett, Sr. Director of Policy Research
As senior director of policy research, Joe Barnett is responsible for the NCPA’s publishing program, working with academic authors, independent experts and the NCPA policy staff in the writing, editing and printing of NCPA books, studies and periodicals.
Kristina Barton Kristina E. Barton, Special Assistant to the President and CEO
Kristina serves as Special Assistant to the President and CEO, James H. Amos, Jr. Building on extensive experience as a major donor fundraiser, Kristina spearheads the efforts of the office of the President related to investor relations, business development, fundraising and events, and the overall strategic advancement of the NCPA.
Alan Hamill Alan Hamill, Development and Policy Associate
Alan Hamill is a Development and Policy Associate at the National Center for Policy Analysis. Alan graduated from Baylor University in 2014 with a BA in International Studies and minors in French and Great Texts of the Western Tradition. Before coming to the NCPA, he was privileged to serve the office of House Representative Roger Williams (TX-25) in the Capitol. Mr. Hamill’s work focuses on domestic energy policy, banking, and current areas of global unrest and concern for US foreign relations. A native Texan, Mr. Hamill has studied martial arts since age 7, currently holds a black belt in two styles and is a certified instructor.
Luke Twombly, Media Manager
Luke Twombly is the Media Manager at the National Center for Policy Analysis. At the NCPA, he coordinates social media, handles event & publication promotion, and manages our experts’ interviews and media appearances. Mr. Twombly has also co-authored several pieces on National Security while at the NCPA. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics with a History minor from Southern Methodist University in 2016. In his free time, Mr. Twombly enjoys watching football, brunching, and playing box lacrosse.
Brian Williams Brian Williams, Legislative Director
Brian Williams is legislative director at the National Center for Policy Analysis. Williams leads the NCPA’s Washington, D.C. policy outreach efforts, representing the NCPA and its public policy issues to the President, Congress, Capitol Hill staffers and other government constituencies.
