Dennis McCuistion served as interim President and CEO of the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) from June to December 2014.  He as a corporate governance and strategic planning expert. He regularly advises businesses regarding director relations, management and banking relations, financial analysis, and strategy.

Dennis is widely recognized as host and co-executive producer of the award-winning television program McCuistion now in its 25th year on Dallas’ KERA, Channel 13.

For over 35 years, he has consulted for nonprofits and corporate clients nationwide on financial, executive leadership, corporate governance and strategic planning issues. He is the author of three books, hundreds of articles and is Executive Director of the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he also serves as clincal professor of corporate governance.

Dennis has been active in the field of policy and economics for decades. Dennis began the TV program McCuistion because of his activity in local public policy issues and has interviewed thousands of experts on every public policy issue.

Dennis began his career in banking at age 13, and he is a “recovering bank CEO and board member”. He has served on over a dozen boards including two on the NYSE. Dennis is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and serves as a faculty member of their Board Advisory Services.

He received his B. B.A. in Banking and Finance and his Master of Liberal Arts from Southern Methodist University.
