NCPA Senior Fellow David G. Tuerck is executive director of the Beacon Hill Institute, and professor and head of the economics department, at Suffolk University. He received a doctorate in economics from the University of Virginia, where the late Nobel Laureate James M. Buchanan supervised his dissertation. Dr. Tuerck has published widely on economic policy issues and brings over four decades of experience as a working economist to the Tax Analysis Center.
