Cherylyn Harley LeBon writes about a variety of issues including regulation, legal issues and education. She previously served in the Bush Administration, as Special Assistant for Congressional and Legislative Affairs in the Department of Veterans Affairs and Assistant Administrator for Intergovernmental Affairs and Deputy Assistant Administrator for Field Operations at the Small Business Administration.  She has also been vice president of public affairs at the National Fisheries Institute and senior counsel for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. She was the youngest Research Guest and Lecturer appointed at the University of Bremen Law School in Germany and has lectured across the United States and throughout Western and Eastern Europe on American business, legal and policy issues.

Ms. LeBon has also served as an adviser to the German Bundestag and as an international transaction specialist with the Mannesmann Corporation in Dusseldorf, where she structured and negotiated financial transactions in Eastern Europe and Asia.  As a former deputy press secretary and spokesman at the Republican National Committee, she is a recognized commentator and frequent guest on television and national broadcast radio shows, including FOX News, MSNBC, as well as Canadian and British television. Her op-eds and articles have appeared in newspapers across the country and she is a contributor to The Blaze, Huffington Post, BlogHer and The Daily Caller

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history cum laude from Canisius College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
