The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust has granted the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) $150,000 a year for the next two years for research and publications on health care policy.
The Murdock grant was made during the trust’s fortieth year of working to “nurture and enrich the educational, spiritual, social, and cultural life of individuals, families, and communities,” according to Steven G. W. Moore, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust executive director.
“We are grateful to the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust for the support and opportunity to continue expanding research in free-market health care and looking for solutions to the most pressing health policy problems,” said NCPA President/CEO Allen B. West.
The NCPA’s long standing history of working toward solutions to empower patients, liberate doctors and encourage competition in the medical marketplace is well established. The organization’s health policy research also resulted in the creation of Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
