Dinesh D’Souza’s most recent book, America: Imagine The World Without Her, explores the landscape of a world in which America had lost the Revolutionary War. His new film based on this book opens nationwide on July 4, 2014.

D’Souza’s last film, 2016: Obama’s America, became the second-highest grossing political documentary of all time, passing Michael Moore’s Sicko and Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. The film is also the sixth-highest grossing documentary of all kinds.

He has been named one of America’s most influential conservative thinkers by the New York Times and one of the “top young public-policy makers in the country” by Investor’s Business Daily.

D’Souza quickly became a major influence on public policy through his writings. His first book, Illiberal Education, publicized the phenomenon of political correctness in America’s colleges and universities and was on the New York Times Best Seller list for 15 weeks. Many other bestsellers, including Letters to a Young Conservative, followed.

A former policy analyst in the Reagan White House, D’souza has served as an Olin Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute as well as a Rishwain Scholar at the Hoover Institution at Stanford.
