NCPA's Team of Environmental Experts Available to Provide Insight, Analysis

July 23, 2003 — The Climate Change Science Program's (CCSP) strategic plan will be released tomorrow at a news conference featuring Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham and Commerce Secretary Don Evans. The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) has a team of scholars available to discuss the report and offer their insights about the causes and effects of climate change.

The CCSP was established in 2002 to address the growing concern of climate change. The strategic plan was developed in response to President Bush's charge to study areas of uncertainty and set priorities where climate science investments can make a difference.

The National Center for Policy Analysis' E-Team is one of the largest collections of energy and environmental policy experts and scientists who believe in sound science and that economic prosperity and protecting the environment can go hand and hand. The Team seeks to correct misinformation and promote sensible solutions to energy and environment problems.
