House Hearing on What Workers Need to Know About Retirement

Tax Analysis Center Director, Boston University William Fairfield Warren Professor and National Center for Policy Analysis Senior Fellow Laurence Kotlikoff will outline the implications of the Social Security’s complexity in a Capitol Hill hearing today.

Kotlikoff says retirees face a maze of obstacles in deciphering information provided by Social Security. He will explain how and why some of those obstacles exist and how to better plan your Social Security decisions for retirement.

Kotlikoff will testify today, July 29 at 11:00am EDT before the House Committee Ways and Means Subcommittee on Social Security in Washington, D.C.  The hearing will focus on what workers need to know about Social Security as they plan their retirement.
