But now conservatives can get the giggles, thanks to one J.P. Mauro, the author of Al Franken Is a Buck-Toothed Moron.
Whether explaining how liberals can pick each other out in crowds or conducting a mock battle of letters with Franken's publisher, Mauro blasts away with rude, brash, funny prose.
He positively seethes at the liberal media, calling Ted Turner the south's least welcome export since kudzu, adding, "anyone who would marry aerobics queen/war criminal Jane Fonda probably thinks Oliver Stone movies are documentaries."
He can't contain his sardonic amusement at Siskel and Ebert's rave for Al Franken's awful movie "Stewart Saves His Family," noting that a little boy and a fat man haven't been responsible for this much human misery since 1945.
And he boils with comic rage at Al Gore's suspiciously impassioned environmentalism, which works on a four-year cycle — election year.
