Lawrence Pivnick M.D., J.D. is a physician, attorney and novelist.  Dr. Pivnick practiced family medicine in Dallas, Texas, for 36 years and law for 20 years, before retiring in order to write fiction full time.  His legal practice focused on malpractice defense, asset protection and estate planning for physicians.  He is the author of The Kilgore Curse (2014) and Supreme Corruption (2015).  He received a Doctor of Medcine degree from the University of Toronto and a Doctor of Laws degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
