Leading Expert on 'Generational Equity' to Address Policy Form Luncheon

Dallas – Boston University Economics Professor Laurence J. Kotlikoff will discuss "fiscal child abuse at home and abroad" during an April 2nd Policy Forum Luncheon sponsored by the National Center for Policy Analysis and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Recognized as the world's leading expert on "generational equity," Dr. Kotlikoff has done extensive research on how Social Security and other entitlement programs will affect future generations. He has shown that the current generation is living at the expense of the next one and that future tax rates will be staggering if we do not reform our income transfer programs soon.

Dr. Kotlikoff has developed a credible plan to privatize Social Security and a plan to replace the income tax with a national sales tax. Policy makers in Washington and around the world frequently seek his counsel on these and other issues. He has been published extensively on such topics as deficits, taxes, Social Security, savings and investment.
