Martin Wolf is Associate Editor and Chief Economics Commentator at the Financial Times, London.

Mr. Wolf has been a Forum Fellow at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, since 1999 and a member of its International Media Council since 2006. He has won many prestigious awards for his journalism, including the CBE (Commander of the British Empire), the Accenture Decade of Excellence Award, the Wincott Foundation senior prize for excellence in financial journalism, and several others.

He was for ten years a senior economist at the World Bank and currently holds prestigious positions at a number of important institutions. Mr. Wolf is the author of several books and numerous articles, including, most recently, Why Globalization Works . His new book, Fixing Global Finance: How to Curb Financial Crises in the 21 st Century , describes how the current financial crisis developed (and those that have preceded it), and what we can do to help ensure global financial stability in the future.
