Mike Montgomery is president, chief executive officer, and chairman of the board of Trek Resources, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry with extensive involvement in operations and acquisitions.
Since its inception in 1987, Mr. Montgomery has served as the president of Montgomery Petroleum, Inc., an independent oil and gas company he founded, and also served from June 1998 to October 2000 as the managing general partner of MBOE Oil & Gas Limited Partnership, a private oil and natural gas enterprise.
Additionally, Mr. Montgomery has extensive experience in the commercial banking industry and currently serves as a director of Grand Bank of Texas. He also serves as a director of Energynet.com, the Dallas Petroleum Club, and is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight. Mr. Montgomery holds a bachelor of arts degree in finance from Southern Methodist University.
