National Center for Policy Analysis Names Kristina E. Barton Special Assistant to the President

Dallas, TX

The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) is pleased to announce Kristina E. Barton as Special Assistant to the President and CEO, James H. Amos, Jr.

Building on extensive experience as a major donor fundraiser, Kristina will spearhead the efforts of the office of the President related to investor relations, business development, fundraising and events, and the overall strategic advancement of the NCPA.

Ms. Barton’s notable career includes fundraising in Texas for political candidates, national committees, 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 efforts. Specializing in major donor relations and events, Kristina assisted the Romney Victory Committee, Republican National Committee (RNC), National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), various U.S. Senators, Congressmen, and governors, as well as Super PAC efforts supporting former House Speaker John Boehner and Governor Jeb Bush’s presidential bid. She also worked alongside candidates for statewide office, an array of state legislators, as well as local races like the Dallas County District Attorney’s race and Tarrant County Sheriff’s race.

“Kristina brings a wealth of knowledge, relationships and expertise to NCPA. She will help expand the NCPA’s outreach at a time when our public policy solutions are more crucial to the nation’s future than any other time in the think tank’s 33-year history,” said Amos.

Ms. Barton said, “NCPA is casting new vision for its future, and I am excited to be a part of this process. Our hope is to build strategic relationships in both the private and public sectors, equipping leadership with free-market solutions that support effective and lasting change in economic, energy, health care and national security policy in Texas and throughout the U.S.”
