DALLAS — Some two dozen leading researchers and environmental experts from the U.S. and other countries will speak on the latest climate change issues at Heartland Institute’s Sixth International Conference on Climate Change, June 30 – July 1, 2011 at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC.
Co-sponsored by the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA), the one and a half day conference joins top global scientists, policy analysts, economists and legislators to present, discuss and debate aspects of climate change and related issues.
The purpose of the conference is to facilitate the sharing of information among climate and public policy experts and provide the latest information on the intensely debated claims of global warming.
“This conference will include some of the best and brightest minds working on the scientific, economic and political questions surrounding the issue of anthropogenic global warming today,” said NCPA Senior Fellow Sterling Burnett. “It’s one of the most important forums where those who have kept an open mind concerning the causes and consequences of the present warm period can air their views and research. Be there or be uninformed.”
