NCPA Expert To Testify on Downsizing Government Labor Agencies

Washington, D.C. – Dr. Morgan Reynolds, a senior fellow for the National Center for Policy Analysis, will testify on ways to downsize federal government at a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing Wednesday, February 4, 1998. Dr. Reynolds' testimony will focus on government labor regulation agencies. In particular, he will argue for deregulation of labor markets as one way to downsize such agencies.

Dr. Reynolds is a consultant to the National League of Cities, U.S. Department of Labor and National Labor Relations Board. He is a board member for the Journal of Labor Research, and author of the book Economics of Labor. He will deliver his testimony Wednesday to the House Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies – a subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee.
