Dallas (Sept. 21, 1999) — Are the public schools failing our kids? Should market-based competition come to the rescue? Or would a greater financial commitment solve the problem? Discussing these questions and more Dr. John C. Goodman, president of the National Center for Policy Analysis, will participate in a panel debate on the future of public education sponsored by the Dallas Association of Realtors.
The program, which will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Westin Galleria Hotel, will also feature state Rep. Kent Gruesendorf, new Dallas Independent School District Superintendent Bill Rojas and Harley Hiscox of Alliance – American Federation of Teachers.
