NCPA's Goodman To Discuss Minimum Wage And Living Wage Proposals On KERA & KDTN's "On The Record"

Dallas (November 12, 1999) — Should Congress raise the minimum wage? Should the city of Dallas mandate a so-called "living wage" of $9 per hour for employees of businesses that contract with the city? What could be the possible economic consequences of either proposal. To discuss these questions and more National Center for Policy Analysis President John C. Goodman will appear on KERA's and KDTN's "On the Record," along with representatives from the Dallas chapter of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
