Dallas, TX (March 4, 2016) – The National Center for Policy Analysis announced today that Danielle Yampolsky of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, placed third in Debate Central’s Young Patriots Essay Contest with her essay on the relationship between government surveillance and the 4th amendment. Yampolsky is in the 12th grade at William Penn Charter School.
The Young Patriots Essay Contest, which is sponsored by Copart, is designed to challenge middle and high school students to creatively engage with public policy and current events through the art of writing. Yampolsky’s essay won out over 900+ applicants, earning her third place and a $1,500 scholarship to the college of her choice.
