Richard McKenzie is a senior fellow with the National Center for Policy Analysis and a professor emeritus of economics and management in the Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. He is the author of a number of books, including Why Popcorn Costs So Much at the Movies, And Other Pricing Puzzles, Microeconomics for MBAs and HEAVY! The Surprising Reasons America Is the Land of the Free – And the Home of the Fat. He teaches an online video lecture course, Microeconomics for Managers, on Coursera.org.
