NCPA Sponsored Episode of DebatesDebates to Air Nationally Starting Today!
Dallas – (Wednesday, July 21, 1999) – The National Center for Policy Analysis announced today that an episode of the nationally syndicated program DebatesDebates, which was sponsored by the NCPA, will begin airing nationally today.
The episode: "Should Medicare be Radically Reformed?" features an all-star cast debating an issue currently being debated in the nation's capitol. The affirmative side is led by Dr. John C. Goodman, President and CEO of the National Center for Policy Analysis and an expert on Medicare. Goodman is joined by Dr. Tom Saving, the Director of the Private Enterprise Research Center at Texas A&M University and Robert Goldberg, a Senior Research Fellow with the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
The opposition team is led by Robert Kuttner, Co-Editor of American Prospect. He is teamed with Ron Pollack, the Executive Director of the liberal Families USA and Dr. Sid Wolfe, the Director of Public Citizen's Health Research Group.
